Welcome to our lab's webpage!
We work on a broad range of topics at the intersection of behavioural ecology and community ecology, using both empirical and theoretical approaches. At the community level, we focus particularly on various forms of ecological networks.
Our overarching goal is to understand the underpinning behavioural mechanisms that give rise to the structure, dynamics, and complexity of large-scale ecological systems.

“An animal is the sum of its behaviours, its community dynamics.
Not just the physical body.”
― B. Kingsolver, Flight Behavior
“All have their worth and each contributes to the worth of the others.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion
